Taber Vision Centre is a team orientated, patient centered office. We believe in giving the best possible care to all of our patients. We believe in treating every patient in a friendly, caring matter and never pre-judge a patient’s ability to pay for services.
When it's time to decide where to choose your new pair of glasses, one thing is certain - all eyewear is not created equal! The fact is you can’t always easily see the difference. Getting the lowest price does not guarantee you are getting the best value. A well made pair of glasses should have accurate power, will be distortion free with proper lens edging, have uniform tints and coatings, be impact resistant, and must have durable frames. You will find that you will only get the full benefit of your prescription if your eyewear is properly fitted!

Dr Jon Pack
Optometrist
Dr. Jon Pack grew up in Taber where he attended W.R. Myers High School. After graduation he attended the University of Lethbridge gaining a Bachelor of Science degree.
While at the U of L he married his wife Colleen. Dr. Pack completed his Doctorate of Optometry at Indiana University which included internships in Toronto and Miami. Dr. Pack has made Taber his home for the last 18 years where he enjoys small town life with his wife, three girls and one son.
Dr Pack enjoys the relationships he has built with his patients and their families over the years. He is proud to offer the latest in technology and expertise in eye care to the people of Southern Alberta.

Dr Austin Hornberger
Optometrist
Dr. Austin Hornberger grew up in West Lethbridge. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lethbridge. Later on he attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon and graduated in 2007.
He married his wife Alauna in 2002 and now has two beautiful children, Mary and Jack. Dr. Hornberger enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors or on vacations.

Dr William Waldie
Optometrist
Dr. William Waldie was raised on a small farm near Fort Macleod. In 2007 he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lethbridge and then attended the College of Optometry at the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
He did several clinical rotations including one at the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Hospital and graduated in 2013. In his spare time he enjoys playing hockey, hiking and spending time with his wife Kate and their three children Christian, Makenna, & Hattie.

Dr Sandeep Parmar
Optometrist
Dr. Sandeep Parmar graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Parmar is originally from Fort Macleod and completed her undergrad at the University of Lethbridge! She is fluent in four different languages and has a small dog named Theo. Dr. Parmar enjoys playing soccer, swimming, and travelling in her free time.

Lauren has been with Taber Vision Centre since May 2017. Since starting here she has taken Optical Sciences through NAIT and is now a Registered Optician.
