Lifetime Vision Care

Dr. Glitz is originally from Shakespeare, ON. She graduated, with honours from the Doctor of Optometry program, and additionally with an honours Bachelor of Science degree from University of Waterloo in 2005. As part of her training, Dr. Glitz completed a therapeutics externship at Eye Associates of Pinellas in Pinellas Park, FL, where she worked with anterior segment, retina and glaucoma specialists to enhance her knowledge of ocular disease management. She joined Lifetime Vision Care in 2007 and was pleased to become an owner in the practice in 2012. For several years Dr. Glitz has taken pride in serving her profession as a Quality Assurance Assessor for the College of Optometrists of Ontario. An avid sports enthusiast, if you don’t run into Dr. Glitz coaching softball at the ball diamond, then you’ll likely see her at the arena soaking up any of the various sports that involve skating. Snowboarding with her kids is also a favourite pastime.

Dr. Keren Prince joined the practice in 2020 and is excited to be serving the St. Marys and surrounding communities by providing eye care with compassion. Dr. Prince graduated from the University of Waterloo, receiving her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science degrees with honours in 2020. Her clinical training included an externship at Eye Associates of Pinellas in Florida where she gained extensive knowledge and experience diagnosing and managing ocular diseases while working closely with ophthalmologists and observing surgeries. She also completed internships at LASIK MD and TLC in Kitchener-Waterloo comanaging laser eye surgeries. Dr. Prince has a passion for serving others and giving back to the community. During her studies, she volunteered at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital in India and at local youth programs providing eye care for underserved communities, and hopes to continue volunteering whenever opportunities arise. Dr. Prince presented and co-authored an abstract discussing the rare presentation of ischemic vaso-occlusive retinopathy in Sturge Weber Syndrome at the American Academy of Optometry Conference in Orlando, FL in 2019. Additionally, she was involved in research assessing the vision needs of hospitalized rehabilitation patients conducted by the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Grand River Hospital in hopes of providing more understanding and better vision care for these patients. Outside the clinic, Dr. Prince can be found playing an instrument, usually the piano, spending time with her family, and volunteering at her church.

Dr. Emily Finlayson earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Windsor. She then graduated on the Dean's Honour List with a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 2020. During her time there she was also president of the University of Waterloo Association for Guide Dogs (UWADG), where she raised funds to sponsor guide dogs for those in need. When Dr. Finlayson isn't practicing, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking, birdwatching, watercolour painting and spending time with her family and (very) fluffy pet cat.
