The Oromocto Vision Clinic of Optometry has a goal of providing comprehensive eye care to all of the citizens of Oromocto area, soldiers and civilians alike. We have the ability to provide this to all age groups, from infants to senior citizens. Our services are all encompassing including eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses, laser correction consultations, emergency care, and prescription of therapeutic eye drops as well as timely referrals to specialists in the Atlantic Provinces.
We strive to offer the best service and most extensive selection of eyewear, sun wear and contact lenses to fit all tastes and budgets. At Oromocto Vision Optometry, we are able to fill all of your family’s eye care needs.

Dr Tara McCarthy
Optometrist
Dr. Tara McCarthy was born in Minto, New Brunswick. She graduated from Ecole Ste. Anne high school in 2006. Then went on to complete her Bachelor of Science at UNB Fredericton. She completed her Doctorate of Optometry in Waterloo ON. In 2003 she joined Oromocto Vision. She is fluently bilingual and enjoys performing eye examinations in both English and French.
Dr. McCarthy is married to Andrew Trevors. Together, they have two children: Ethan and Annabelle. In her spare time, Dr. McCarthy enjoys several art mediums including scrap booking, card making, and mixed media canvases. She has also taken an interest in healthy habits and enjoys yoga as well as exploring nutritious options for herself and her family.

Shelly Harris

Shelly Smith has been a receptionist at Oromocto Vision for the past 15 years. Shelly is ready and waiting to help with your optometric needs from booking your appointment to processing your insurance claims and any questions you may have.
Shelly has come to us with 18 years of experience in the financial industry. She has two grown children and is anxiously awaiting her first grandchild. She enjoys walking through her woodlot with her faithful companion Duke, a beautiful yellow lab and spending as much time as possible with her family and friends.
